April 12 Notes
*Foundation before concealer.
*Use the smaller puff side for blending foundation. If blending is still too wide and going out of placement, maybe the 111D Brush with the smaller side would be easier. 111D brush also builds more coverage since the bristles are shorter and tighter.
*Raise Contour, Blush, and Highlighter placement.
*Place contour from the ear going toward the nostril to lift the cheeks. Blend upwards using the flatter brush.
*Blush ON cheekbone. Highlighter ON TOP of the cheekbone.
*Use Highlight in a “C”. On top of the cheekbone and sweep up to the outer eye, UNDER eyebrow.
*Dot Highlighter between Blush on the cheek to make the blush more glossy.
*SNATCH contour by using foundation under the contour. Follow under the cheekbone and curve up under the apple of the cheek and blend in place but tapping. This sharpens the whole cheek and lifts the face.
*The black Sephora brush is great for forehead bronzer.

Class notes
*Skincare steps - Cleanse, Tone, Serum, Moisturizer, Sunscreen. Serums are applied in order from the thinnest to the thickest.
*Skincare oils are great under the makeup. I love this one off Amazon. Lightweight squalene oil that is quickly absorbed. A heavier one if you are drier is this one from B3 Balm. I love using it. Clean beauty.
*Use Demi O1 for under the eyes. Keep just where the discoloration is. O3 would be better if after a good tan or vacation. Demi Y01 is great for little red spots. Redness around the nose.
*WhitePeach for concealer. Candlelit for the main foundation. Aspen lighter contour under the jaw for a softer, easier-to-blend contour.
*Bronzer on the forehead.
*Contour under cheekbones and along jawbone. Blend down the jawline. For cheekbones, blend up the cheek and back over the ear. No contour around the temples.
*Cream highlighter is great on the eyelids to brighten and open the eyes. Powder highlighter is great in the inner corner and days you feel you need to look more awake.
*Use your eyeshadow brush for the Demi and concealer. Use the Wash brush to layer the cream highlight under the foundation. Keeps it light and luminous.
*HIghlight colors you liked were Goldie and Starlit. Can be used on cheek bones, on eyelids, and in the inner corner of the eye. Place highlight on top of cheekbones, like a light is placed above your head and it’s landing on your cheekbones. Sweep highlight up around to the temples and outer eye area to brighten the eyes.
*Anastasia Brow Wiz Dark Brown for brows. Can also use the Anastasia Brow Definer if you want something a little thicker. Some find it easier.

Concealer will have to be color-matched in person. Sephora carries both of these.
Placement of the Candlit foundation color.
All done! :)
